§01 Editorial Standard

How every page earns its place.

We would rather publish one finite, correct book than a bottomless feed of auto-generated worksheets. Every item is authored, checked, and reviewed by a human before it reaches you.

§02 The process, made visible

From idea to printed page.

No dark patterns — just a rigorous standard applied to every single question.

  1. Step 01 — Author

    Authored and shaped.

Every item is created originally for Reasonwell and shaped around the real structure and logic of tests like the NGAT and CogAT — never scraped or recycled from a question bank.

  2. Step 02 — Automated Checks

    Automated duplicate-answer and rule-consistency checks.

Software catches formatting errors, duplicate answer options, and structural inconsistencies — so the basics are solid before a human ever looks at it.

// Checks for: duplicate options, answer key alignment, figure rendering.
  3. Step 03 — Human Review

    Human editorial review.

An editor reviews every item for clarity, age-appropriate language, and logical defensibility. If an explanation can't be read aloud by a parent, it goes back.

  4. Step 04 — Publish

Published to be owned by you.

Once approved, items are typeset into a finite, physical workbook. You buy it, you own it — no subscriptions, no expiring access.

§03 What we check

Our quality principles.

If an item fails any of these, it doesn't ship. Simple as that.

No duplicate answer options

We verify that every multiple-choice option is distinct and that the correct answer isn't accidentally duplicated.

One defensible answer

Every question has exactly one correct, logically sound answer — no "trick" questions with ambiguous keys.

Age-appropriate language

Vocabulary and instructions are checked against the target grade level, so we're testing reasoning — not reading comprehension.

Explanations a parent can read aloud

If an explanation needs an expert to decode, it fails. We rewrite until it's calm, clear, and genuinely helpful for a parent.

§04 Our promises

The anti-dark-pattern posture.

How we operate differently from sticky-subscription test-prep mills.

You own the book — no subscription.

When you buy a Reasonwell workbook, it's yours. No auto-renewals, no expiring digital access, no cancellation friction.

We publish errata, openly.

If we find a mistake in a printed book, we fix it — and publish the corrected pages openly, so you always have the best version.

Honest reviews only.

We never pay for reviews, gate them behind a paywall, or inflate ratings. If we have zero reviews at launch, that's the truth.

Errata & Corrections

Spotted a mistake? We want to know.

We treat transparency as a feature. Found an error in one of our workbooks? Email us at support@reasonwellpress.com or use the report form, and we'll confirm it and post a correction.

FAQ

Parent questions about our standard

What happens if a printed workbook has an error?

Reasonwell publishes errata and corrected pages openly, so families can use the best available version.

Why does Reasonwell avoid subscriptions?

The editorial posture is finite practice: buy the workbook, own it, and avoid auto-renewals or expiring access.
