Which districts publicly say they use the NGAT?
This is a small, strict tracker. Rows appear only when an official district or school-system source publicly names the Naglieri General Ability Tests.

This tracker is a starting point, not a policy guarantee.
Districts change screening processes. A row here means we found a public official source on July 1, 2026; it does not mean the district will use the same test, grade level, or rule forever.
Before making a referral, appeal, or preparation plan, open the district source, check the current school year, and ask the school or district gifted-services office what applies to your child.
How to verify a district we have not listed
- Search the district site for NGAT, Naglieri, gifted screening, TAG, AIG, or highly capable.
- Look for a current-year testing page, parent handbook, board document, or gifted-services page.
- Confirm the grade level, testing window, and whether the NGAT is a universal screener, a referred-student assessment, or one part of a second-round review.
- Ignore third-party claims until the district publishes its own source.
Found an official source we should add? Send it through the Reasonwell errata form with the district name and source URL.

NGAT district tracker questions
Is this a complete list of every district that uses the NGAT?
No. This is a strict public-source tracker. It includes only districts where we found an official district or school-system source that names NGAT use.
Why are there so few rows?
Accuracy matters more than size. A tutoring site, forum post, or publisher testimonial is not enough for this tracker. Each row needs an official source link.
Can the grade levels change?
Yes. District screening windows, grade levels, and program rules can change. Use the source link and confirm current details with your district before acting.
Can I send a correction?
Yes. Use the Reasonwell errata form and include the official district source link so we can verify it before adding or updating a row.
